At 11 o'clock in the afternoon, the reporter rushed to the Hefeng Garden in Linping District where the incident occurred. A cordon had been set up outside the building where the incident occurred. Police, fire, gas and other staff were busy within the cordon.

"I heard that a family on the 15th floor was undergoing gas maintenance before the accident. There was a leak and an explosion during the maintenance."

The reporter contacted the East Lake Street Office in Linping District, Hangzhou City, where Hefeng Garden is located.

The staff said that the incident occurred at about 9 a.m. on June 1,It is a gas fire in the household of the community.

In response to the statement circulated on the Internet platform that "everyone was blown up and their hands fell on the ground car", the staff member said that this was purely a rumor and only one person was slightly injured.

The reporter visited the community and found that there were many glass fragments in the pedestrian passage of the community 50 or 60 meters away from the building where the incident occurred.

"This is what blew up in that building." A community residents pointed to the glass shards said.Some residents of the community said that there was a loud noise when the incident occurred and the whole building was shaking.

"The decoration of the ceiling in our house has fallen off, and the elevators in the corridor have been deformed and cannot be used."A resident living above the 10th floor of the incident building told reporters that now the whole building, as well as some residents of the unit building on the side, have been evacuated and the corridor has been blocked.

It is understood that the incident in Hefeng Garden is a resettlement house.

On the same day, the Linping District Emergency Management Bureau issued a notice stating that at 9:48, the open fire at the scene was extinguished. The fire area at the scene was about 20 square meters, and one person was injured and sent to hospital. The cause of the accident and property damage are under further investigation and verification.
