"The year 2025 is not only the concluding year of the 14th Five-Year Plan but also the year for planning the 15th Five-Year Plan, and it is also a year of vigorous development for AVIC Elevator's high-quality growth," said Hu Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guizhou AVIC Elevator Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AVIC Elevator). He stated that in the new year, they will seize new opportunities, adhere to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability, and contribute AVIC wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry.
Entering the production workshop of AVIC Elevator, 26 intelligent robots are operating efficiently, with robotic arms precisely completing processes such as bending, welding, and spraying. Every minute, one elevator component can be processed, with a daily output of over 500 sets of elevator landing doors. In the workshop, the display screens at the front of each production line show real-time information on production plans and completion progress. Workers can complete data entry by scanning codes with mobile terminals, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the production process.
As the only advanced equipment manufacturing enterprise in Guizhou that integrates elevator design, production, sales, installation, transformation, and maintenance, AVIC Elevator's main products include passenger elevators, medical elevators, freight elevators, escalators, home elevators, automatic walkways, intelligent substation systems, and intelligent high and low voltage complete electrical equipment. The company has been awarded titles such as provincial-level technology center, "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" enterprise, national "contract-abiding and trustworthy" enterprise, and Guizhou AAA-level credit enterprise.
With the dual advantages of intelligent manufacturing and technological innovation, AVIC Elevator not only deeply cultivates the domestic market but also successfully exports elevators to countries such as Russia, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, and Oman, demonstrating strong competitiveness and brand influence on the international stage.
"In the past year, AVIC Elevator has made new breakthroughs in market expansion, with domestic market sales growing against the trend, and foreign trade in regions such as Southeast Asia and Central Asia further consolidated; in the field of technological innovation, we have obtained five patents, including 'Key Technology Research and Development of Machine Room-less Elevators', completed 24 product optimizations and technological innovations such as 'Rope Break Detection Protection Device', and successfully established a CNAS laboratory, building a 5G + industrial internet empowerment service platform, which has strongly promoted the company's digital transformation and upgrading," Hu Ming shared.
In Hu Ming's view, mastering core technologies independently is the core strength for enterprises to stand out in fierce competition and is also a key support for shaping brand value. AVIC Elevator is committed to the research and development of core elevator technologies, currently holding over 200 patents, with more than 20 patents still under application. In 2024, AVIC Elevator's investment in R&D will reach 30.5 million yuan, demonstrating the company's persistent pursuit of technological innovation.
"The application of 5G technology has enabled a qualitative leap in our production efficiency and quality," Hu Ming introduced. Through the 5G industrial internet empowerment service platform, AVIC Elevator has achieved data sharing and intelligent management throughout the entire process from design, production, sales to installation, transformation, and maintenance. This platform not only improves production efficiency but also greatly enhances the response speed and quality of after-sale service through functions such as remote assistance, fault warning, and intelligent maintenance.
In addition, AVIC Elevator also conducts 24-hour remote monitoring and data collection for over 3,000 elevators through an IoT management platform, achieving real-time monitoring of elevator operating status and on-demand maintenance. This intelligent management model not only improves the safety and reliability of elevators but also provides users with a more efficient and convenient service experience.
"Next, we will continue to focus on elevator technology R&D and technological innovation, promoting the deep integration of 'intelligent manufacturing' and 'smart service', leading the high-quality development of the industry," Hu Ming stated.
