Robot "Jump Tango" Makes Elevators!

In this elevator factory in Guizhou, the robotic arm is "dancing" with millimeter-level precision—punching like a drumbeat, bending like a bow, and welding sparks are its flashlights. As traditional manufacturing rides the "fire wheel" of 5G + intelligence, the miracle of producing an elevator component every minute showcases the "Chinese speed."

This is the No. 6 production workshop of Guizhou AVIC Elevator Co., Ltd. located in Huichuan District, where the high-tech scene comes to life. On the intelligent production line, the robotic arms are constantly waving, flexibly performing tasks from punching, bending to sealing and welding. Every minute, 26 intelligent robots in the company can complete the processing of one elevator's components.
Zhou Jian, the bending team leader at the AVIC elevator manufacturing center, proudly introduced: "The intelligent robotic production line behind me mainly produces elevator door panels, replacing traditional manual cutting, punching, bending, and welding with eight robots. Previously, manual labor could only produce about a hundred sets of door panels a day, but now I only need one person to press the start button, and we can achieve a daily output of over 500 sets." The significant increase in production capacity is the quiet power of technology at work.

In every corner of this workshop, the power of technology is everywhere. On the display screens at the front of each production line, today's plans, completed orders, work progress, and other information are clear at a glance. Workers easily follow orders through scanning devices, saving a lot of time compared to the past era of handwritten work orders, and improving accuracy to 100%.
Liang Yong, an employee in the AVIC elevator production workshop, remarked: "This intelligent system connects every production process on the front line, allowing us to clearly and intuitively know our daily and even monthly work tasks and real-time completion status. Compared to before, the use of this system gives us front-line workers a better sense of 'numbers.'"
The intelligent system mentioned by Liang Yong is the "MES" information management system introduced by AVIC Elevator, which has established a fully automated production line and formed a full lifecycle management model, achieving full-process supervision from contract signing to production scheduling, delivery, installation, and after-sales.
As the only advanced equipment manufacturing industry in Guizhou that integrates elevator design, production, sales, installation, transformation, and maintenance, AVIC Elevator has seized opportunities in recent years, accelerated the integration of digital and physical, and utilized 5G "Internet +" technology to create a modern "smart factory," successfully transforming into a digital enterprise of "intelligent manufacturing + intelligent services." Currently, the intelligent coverage in this workshop has reached over 80%, with an annual elevator production capacity of over 10,000 units.
Next, AVIC Elevator will continue to increase investment in scientific research, upgrade existing robots, and add a control cabinet production line to further enhance production capacity. With the continuous empowerment of technology, AVIC Elevator will create more brilliance in the elevator production field and inject new vitality into industry development.
