For the people on the other side of the river, the existence of eight hundred soldiers gave them a sense of security, gave them hope, and aroused their consciousness.
"Eight Hundred" tells the story that at the end of the Battle of Songhu, the first battalion of the 524 regiment led by Xie Jinyuan defended the last position in Shanghai-the Shanghai Sihang Warehouse, and resisted the Japanese army tenaciously for four days and four nights with fewer enemies. What I remember most in the movie are the three scenes: first, in the first half of the movie, when the Japanese army approached the building where the defenders were trying to explode, a Chinese soldier with grenades strapped on his body resolutely jumped from the upstairs and died with the enemy; the second scene was raising the national flag, knowing that raising the national flag would arouse the anger of the Japanese army, he would face a more violent attack, however, the national flag represents the dignity of a country. In order to build up the confidence of the Chinese people, they use a human wall to protect the flag, and people can't fall in chess. Third, at the end of the film, "800" braved the enemy's intensive fire and rushed into the public concession in a hail of bullets. For the sake of the overall situation, knowing that this evacuation is to die, none of them flinched and resolutely rushed forward. In the play, the head of the regiment said: "If you want to really win this war, you can't rely on the 800 strong men in the four-line warehouse. You have to rely on the 400 million compatriots behind them. Mr. He Xiangning said: "Chinese people are like this, how dare Japanese pirates"!
