Li Weiwei, a staff member of the Jinan Elevator Safety Operation Monitoring Center, believes that there are currently about 60000 elevators in Jinan, and the emergency telephone problem should be paid attention to, and maintenance units should strengthen this work.
According to statistics, from January to November 2020, Jinan Elevator Safety Operation Monitoring Center handled a total of 1792 elevator failures, of which 1169 were trapped and 2455 were rescued.

At the scene of political inquiry, Feng Jie, member of the Party committee and deputy leader of the comprehensive administrative law enforcement detachment of Jinan market supervision, said that the elevator alarm emergency device is a guarantee facility that the elevator must be put into operation. Feng Jie introduced that when an emergency occurs in the elevator, the emergency alarm device will work. This is a protective measure. In addition, the telephone number of the maintenance company is posted in the elevator, which can make a call for help. If the call cannot be reached, you can dial the "96333" rescue command platform. If there is no signal in the elevator, you can dial the alarm number "110", "110" and "96333" can be linked. After getting through, you can explain the exact location and wait for the rescue team at ease.

Feng Jie said that in recent years, with the increase in the number of elevators, trapped faults are also increasing. In order to strengthen supervision and ensure the safety of citizens, Jinan Market Supervision Bureau has implemented a dynamic management mode. Every quarter, the top ten units with trapped person failures and the top ten units with failure rate of maintenance units will be publicly exposed and publicized every quarter to urge them to rectify immediately and let the public know the situation. At the end of the year, a summary will be made, and maintenance units and user units with many failures will be included in the key supervision and inspection objects of the next year.
