It happened on the night of August 12. Ms. Huang said that she took the elevator at 9 o'clock that night to throw garbage on the first floor. When the elevator was halfway down, she was looking down at her mobile phone when she suddenly felt the elevator shaking and her head was a little dizzy. She quickly looked up and found that the floor was on the 13th floor. The button on the first floor that she had pressed was not lit. She quickly pressed the button on the first floor again, but there was no response. She pressed other buttons including the emergency button, but there was no response.
"The whole people were scared!" Ms. Huang said that the elevator did not stop after shaking, and then went down directly. When the elevator stopped, the door opened. She came out and found that there was an iron door locked on the negative first floor. She had to return to the elevator. Ms. Huang said that after returning to the elevator, the button can be used again. Take the elevator to the first floor, come out and see the neighbors waiting for the elevator outside, she quickly remind everyone that the elevator is out of order, and then immediately inform the property in the owner group.

Master Zheng, the maintenance company responsible for the elevator maintenance in the residential area, said that the incident was an accidental failure of COP. He said that on-site inspection that night did not find the elevator fault, and the system did not display the fault code.

Reporters saw from the monitoring that after ms Huang entered the elevator on the 25th floor, the monitoring showed that shaking occurred on the 14th floor. at this time, the total time was 34 seconds, and the speed was 0.97 m/s based on the height of 3 meters. Subsequently, it took a total of 24 seconds from the 14th floor to the negative first floor, ignoring the difference in underground height, and the elevator running speed was about 1.75 m/s.
After watching the video, Mr. Lin, who has been engaged in the elevator industry for 15 years, thinks that the elevator has indeed broken down, the occupant's body is obviously shaking, and she presses the first floor and finally the elevator stops to the negative first floor, which is theoretically not normal operation.
