AVIC Elevator The first elevator (Building 42, Qingfeng Hospital) was officially put into use in the existing residential buildings in Yunyan District of Guiyang City!

On January 20, 2020, the opening ceremony of the first elevator for the pilot work of adding elevators to existing residential buildings in Yunyan District of Guiyang City was held in Building 42, Qingfeng Hospital, Jincang Road, marking the official opening of the first existing residential elevator in Guiyang City after 43 days of intense construction.
The ceremony was presided over by Wang Feng, deputy secretary of Yunyan District Committee. At the ceremony, An Yinji, Deputy Director of the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Chen Weiming, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Wang Chun, Deputy Mayor of Guiyang Municipal Government, Shu Dongqin, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Office of the Provincial Department of Finance, Lin Gang, Secretary of the Yunyan District Party Committee, and Hu Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of AVIC Elevator Company, gave the elevator keys to the owner representatives of Building 42. The owner representative of Building 42 of Qingfeng Hospital read out a thank-you letter to Yunyan District Party Committee and District Government, and also presented a banner to Yunyan District Party Committee, District Government and AVIC Elevator. Wang Qian, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Chief of the District Government, and Hu Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of AVIC Elevator, received the banner. In addition, the company also presented electric wheelchairs to the elderly in 42 buildings of Qingfeng Hospital at the ceremony.
Zhang Xinghua, an 86-year-old 701 resident, was sincerely happy about the addition of elevators. He said: "Due to the poor lumbar spine, you usually need to rely on a walker to walk in the house. In the past, when there was no elevator, it was rare to go downstairs once a week. Now there is an elevator in front of the house. I am going to go downstairs every day to bask in the sun, chat with friends and breathe fresh air!".
The 802 resident, 91-year-old She Guixiang, said, "It's been almost 30 years since I lived in the elevator room, and this is the first elevator room I 've ever lived in. It's the government's real consideration for such an old community and for the life problems of the elderly."
"Installation of elevators in old buildings" is a livelihood project that the state focuses on. The elevator has a one-stop high-quality service for maintenance, which maximizes the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
