Only by strictly protecting intellectual property rights and severely cracking down on market entities and criminals who infringe and counterfeit in accordance with the law can we improve the quality of the supply system and effectively promote high-quality development. In recent years, relevant departments in various regions have continuously strengthened the protection of intellectual property rights and resolutely cracked down on illegal and criminal acts of infringement and counterfeiting. According to data released by the State Intellectual Property Office, in 2021, a total of 2957 infringement and piracy cases were investigated and handled nationwide, and 1.197 million infringement and piracy links were deleted. A total of 79200 batches of suspected import and export infringing goods have been detained. 21000 cases of infringement and counterfeiting were detected, and 38000 criminal suspects were arrested, with a total value of 9.53 billion yuan.
