Recently, an old man in Nanhai, Foshan, was trapped in an elevator. When he called the police for help, he could not tell the specific location. The old man also showed signs of dizziness and hypoxia. At the critical moment, the police assistants of Nanhai Public Security Danzao Police Station searched the village door to door and finally found the old man who was slapping the elevator door. Due to the timely assistance, the elderly are not seriously affected at present.

At about 20 o'clock on October 18, the Lianan Unit of the Community Police Team of Danzao Police Station received an emergency call for help. An old man called the police and said that he was trapped in the elevator of his own house and asked the police for help.
After receiving the report, police officer Wang Jin immediately led the auxiliary personnel to rush out of the police. Because the old man could not tell exactly where he was trapped, on his way to the scene, Wang Jin called back the old man's phone to calm his emotions and communicate patiently to guide the old man to recall his trapped location.
After the efforts of the police and auxiliary personnel, an elevator was soon found in a private house in a village in Danzao Donglian, which was still under renovation. Wang Jin shouted into the elevator, and the old man who heard the sound clapped the elevator door loudly in response, feeling more excited. It is understood that the old man has been trapped in the elevator for some time and has shown signs of dizziness and hypoxia. After understanding the situation, Wang Jin stood patiently in front of the elevator door to appease the old man and calm his anxiety, while contacting the rescue force. A few minutes later, the fire rescue personnel arrived at the scene, and the police auxiliary personnel assisted the firefighters to successfully open the elevator door, and the old man was rescued smoothly. Fortunately, the old man was only frightened and his body was fine.
After the rescue was successful, Wang Jin taught the elderly relevant emergency knowledge and reminded his family to troubleshoot the elevator to prevent similar situations from happening again.
