Nowadays, more and more elevators in residential areas, hotels and office buildings must swipe their cards to press the corresponding floors. This not only facilitates the management of property personnel and improves the safety experience of owners, but also brings troubles to the professional group of takeout riders.
"Without an elevator card, you can't get up or down!" Recently, some readers reported to the hourly news: I am a take-out rider. I usually run orders in Xihu District. Now when I go to some residential areas to deliver take-out, I often cannot take it because there is no elevator card. "I can't take the elevator. I need to climb the stairs. On the morning of November 2, the hour news reporter came to one of the communities reflected by the reader, Jiahe Garden, Xihu District, Hangzhou. This is a residential area built in 2008, a total of 12 units. According to the inquiry data, in November 2021, Jiahe Huayuan completed the installation of elevators, becoming the first resettlement housing community in Xihu District to realize full coverage of elevators.
The hourly news reporter walked into the elevator of one of the unit buildings, and there was a credit card sensing area under the floor button. Since there is no swipe card, pressing does not light up any floor. Then the reporter climbed to the third floor, entered the elevator again, wanted to go down to the first floor, found that the same could not be used.
It was before lunch that the reporter met several take-out riders who came to deliver the meal in the community.
"If you want to swipe your card when you go upstairs, why do you want to swipe it when you go downstairs?" Xiao Zhang, the takeaway clerk, couldn't help but "spit out": I have sent this community many times, and I was very impressed. I had to climb the stairs every time. There were also takeaway riders who expressed understanding.
"This community is fine, with only five floors. Some communities are tall buildings with more than ten or twenty floors, and there is no takeaway cabinet." Takeaway member Xiao Zeng said.
He had just delivered a bill. The customer lived on the fourth floor. He went downstairs and went straight to the stairs without entering the elevator. Obviously, he knew the elevator usage rules here.
The reporter then interviewed the security and property personnel of the community, and they all said that it was also a helpless move to "get stuck" in the takeaway boy.
The security master at the south gate of the community said that take-out riders come and go frequently, and the community does not have strict access control for other visitors. Many take-out riders shared their experiences of being "stuck" by elevator cards, including some extreme cases: "once a meal was delivered, the customer lived on the 23rd floor, the elevator had to swipe the card, and the note was not allowed to make phone calls or knock at the door." A rider from Dalian shared his experience with everyone online.
Some netizens also put forward some possible solutions, "put the takeout in the elevator, let the customer press the elevator, and the person will not go up!" This method was quickly questioned, "It can only be applied when the elevator is empty. If it is taken away in the middle of the way or trampled by the person taking the elevator, whose is it?"
It is difficult for takeaway riders to go upstairs, which may also remind us to think about a question: how to take into account the "soft" environment of certain groups while the "hardware" of the city is improving and developing?
