Zou Yang is the deputy director of the Quality and Safety Center of Guizhou AVIC Elevator Co., Ltd. In May 2021, in accordance with the unified arrangement and deployment of the Zunyi Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, he was selected to Dansha Village as the first secretary of the village party organization.
From Huichuan District of Zunyi City to Dansha Village, 10.6 kilometers away from Wuchuan County, Zou Yang's enthusiasm for work has not changed. In order to improve the villagers' income, he and the "two committees" of the village branch united and led the villagers to develop more than 100 mu of pepper. At the same time, he actively visited and inspected the pepper market. Finally, he reached a cooperation with Zunla Group. In 2021, he sold nearly 50 tons of pepper to Dansha Village, with sales of nearly 150000 yuan, effectively increasing the villagers' income and creating a net profit of nearly 60000 yuan for Dansha Village Joint Stock Economic Cooperative.
Last year, he successively organized the "two committees" of the village and villagers' representatives to hold industrial development meetings to formulate policies to benefit the people for the development of pepper industry. At the same time, he carried out mass meetings in nine administrative groups of the village to carry out publicity. Through the holding of mass meetings, the villagers' will was strong. In 2022, the villagers of the village signed a pepper planting contract of more than 300 mu.
On the one hand, it is to help the local people find a way out for their industries, and on the other hand, it is to create hardware conditions for Dansha Village. Through investigation, he found that the office positions in Dansha Village were seriously insufficient. The original party affairs and government affairs service hall had an area of less than 30 square meters and had to accommodate 8 people at the same time. Villagers often had no place to stay when they went to the village to handle affairs. In order to make the masses feel comfortable and the cadres feel at ease in their work, he actively visited and coordinated funds to help build the village party affairs and government service hall. The office position has been put into use.
"Since we were stationed in the village, we have continuously mobilized villagers to carry out environmental sanitation improvement, strive to achieve ecological livability, and help rural revitalization. Now the village is becoming more and more beautiful." Watching Dansha Village change a little under everyone's efforts, Zou Yang said with satisfaction: "The Party's 20th National Congress report proposes that the great achievements of the new era are the result of the Party and the people working together, working out and struggling out. I am very lucky to be a part of it."
