In order to commemorate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the party and to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, on June 29, 2019, the AVIC Elevator Technical Party Branch organized party members to visit the site of Xifeng Concentration Camp in Guizhou.
More than 70 years ago, in order to lofty faith and revolutionary victory, the martyrs still fought against the enemy with a positive attitude in the face of more than ten kinds of tests of poisoning and damp and dark interrogation holes! In the former concentration camp, 1200 revolutionary martyrs and patriots were detained for eight years, more than 600 people were secretly killed and tortured to death, and more than 400 people were unaccounted for... It was the Chinese Communist Party and patriots across the country who paid. The huge price and sacrifice made the success of the revolution and the progress of the nation.
The visit and education of Xifeng concentration camp shocked everyone by the strong will of the revolutionary martyrs to realize their lofty beliefs and despised the despicable and cruel means used by the reactionary forces. Face up to history, the birth and growth of the Communist Party of China is not easy! The revolutionary cause led by the Communist Party of China is not easy! Today, the road to national rejuvenation led by the Communist Party of China is not easy either!
This visit and study encourages everyone to adhere to the great call of "never forget the original ideal and ambition and bear in mind the mission", keep their feet on the ground, work hard, and strive to achieve the two "centenary" goals of the Communist Party of China in the new period!
