The 2023 Zunyi Quality Development Conference was held, and AVIC Elevator won the Mayor's Quality Award nomination.
On December 26, the 2023 Zunyi Quality Development Conference was held. Li Rui, a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, made a statement, and Huang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, along with Hu Bangjun, a member of the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau Party Group and Deputy Director, gave speeches and presented awards. Yang Jinsong, a member of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, and Fan Qiyuan, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, attended, with Deputy Mayor Cao Mingfeng presiding.
In his statement, Li Rui pointed out that in recent years, all levels and departments of the city have resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, deeply implementing the strategy of strengthening the city through quality, making positive contributions to promoting high-quality development in the city. We must deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on quality work, fully implement the "Quality Strong Country Construction Outline" and the provincial implementation opinions, firmly establish the awareness of quality first, solidly promote quality improvement actions, continuously enhance quality governance capabilities, accelerate the formation of new quality productivity, and continuously enhance the quality competitiveness of industries, providing solid quality support for writing a new chapter in the practice of modernization in Zunyi.
Huang Wei pointed out in his speech that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to quality work and has made a series of important instructions, providing fundamental guidance for us to do a good job in quality work. The whole city must deeply study and implement the important speeches and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, take adhering to high-quality development as the hard truth of the new era, firmly grasp the historical position of "great turning point" and the strategic positioning of "provincial sub-center", focus on the strategic tasks of "four new" and "four transformations", "six major mission tasks", and "six major industrial bases", always adhere to quality first and efficiency priority, accelerate the promotion of quality strong city and quality strong enterprise construction, and promote Zunyi's high-quality development and modernization construction with high-level quality work. We must focus on key points, treat quality work as the "lifeline" for promoting high-quality industrial development in our city, vigorously improve industrial quality, product quality, and brand quality. We must treat quality work as the foundation for enterprises' high-quality development, accelerate the promotion of technological innovation in key areas and enterprises, and accelerate the establishment of a modern management system for enterprises. We must coordinate high-quality development and high-level safety, firmly establish quality safety awareness, earnestly implement quality safety responsibilities, especially the main responsibility of enterprises, increase the intensity of quality safety supervision, severely crack down on various illegal activities, and firmly hold the bottom line of quality safety. We must strengthen organizational leadership, optimize the business environment, increase publicity and guidance, and create a good atmosphere for building a quality strong city.
Hu Bangjun congratulated the awarded enterprises and hoped that Zunyi City would strengthen policy support, increase quality investment, create a platform for upgrading industrial quality, cultivate comparative advantages in enterprise quality, and make new contributions to the construction of a quality strong province.

The conference awarded the first Zunyi Mayor's Quality Award to Guizhou Dongjiu Co., Ltd., Guizhou Aerospace Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and the Mayor's Quality Award nomination to Guizhou Moutai Distillery (Group) Circular Economy Industry Investment Development Co., Ltd., Guizhou Rongbai Lithium Battery Materials Co., Ltd., and Guizhou AVIC Elevator Co., Ltd. Officials from the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, Guizhou Dongjiu Co., Ltd., Guizhou Aerospace Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and the governments of Renhuai City and Xishui County made speeches.
The Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, Zeng Zheng, members of the Municipal Quality Strong Country Construction Coordination Promotion Leading Group and relevant units, main responsible persons from relevant universities and research institutions, some municipal state-owned enterprises and shortlisted enterprises, as well as heads of relevant industry associations attended the meeting. The meeting was held via video to the counties.
