Recently, the General Administration of Market Supervision has made arrangements for the key legislative tasks of 2024 and planned the legislative work scientifically and systematically.

In 2024, the legislative work of the General Administration of Market Supervision will focus on the implementation of major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, fully implement the new development concept, adhere to the general tone of the work of seeking progress while maintaining stability, make overall plans, grasp key points, and plan overall, and advance relevant legislative projects in a planned and step-by-step manner.

First, we will continue to improve the development quality of business entities, improve the integrity and law-abiding level of business entities, and revise laws and regulations such as supporting laws and regulations of the Company Law, interim measures for spot checks on public information of enterprises, and measures for the management of the list of serious violations and dishonesty in market supervision and management.

The second is to continue to optimize the market environment for fair competition, accelerate the construction of a unified national market, and promote the revision of regulations prohibiting pyramid schemes; at the same time, actively cooperate with the legislature to continue to promote the early revision of laws and regulations such as the Anti-Unfair Competition Law and Fair Competition Review Regulations that have been submitted for review.

The third is to continue to promote the implementation of the "two outlines", promote the continuous improvement of the level of quality development, and revise laws and regulations such as the Product Quality Law, Certification and Accreditation Regulations, Standard Material Management Measures, Adoption of International Standard Management Measures, and Supervision and Management Measures of Inspection and Testing Institutions.

The fourth is to continue to adhere to the "four safety" bottom line, effectively protect the people's lives and property safety, and revise the Medical Device Management Law, Special Equipment Safety Supervision Regulations, Food Entrusted Production Supervision and Management Measures, and food production and operation enterprises to implement food safety subject responsibility supervision Management regulations and other laws and regulations.

In advancing various key legislative tasks, the General Administration of Market Supervision will further promote scientific legislation, democratic legislation, and legislation in accordance with the law, effectively improve the quality and efficiency of legislation, and ensure that legislation meets the new requirements of economic and social development, responds to the new expectations of business entities under the rule of law, and meets market supervision practices.
