Since the formal implementation of the new elevator inspection regulations on April 2, the number of unqualified elevators has shown an obvious upward trend, and the unqualified elevators are concentrated in the following items:
1. Upward overspeed protection device (maintenance personnel have not mastered the test method);
2. Overload protection device (maintenance personnel do not master the test method);
3. Lack of grounding protection measures;
4. Emergency rescue test;
5. The emergency alarm device fails or the elevator position cannot be distinguished;
6. Cross-distance identification of counterweight;
7. Lighting of hoistway;
8. Channel lighting;
9. Door running and guide jam;
10. The door gap exceeds the standard;
11. There is no emergency stop switch near the machine room-less elevator host;
12. The clearance between the step of the escalator and the apron board exceeds the standard;
13. No witness materials for brake disassembly and maintenance;
14. The buffer body is damaged due to the buffer test and cannot be restored to use;
15. The test elevator safety function can not be restored to normal use.
All maintenance units: strictly implement the relevant provisions of Decree No. 73 of the General Administration of Market Supervision, fully grasp the safety functions of the maintained elevators and the health status of all safety components, do a good job in maintenance, eliminate potential safety hazards in time, inform the users of the potential safety hazards, and stop the hidden elevators in time when necessary. For elevators applying for regular inspection, self-inspection should be done in advance, and problems should be dealt with and solved early, timely inform the user of the potential unqualified factors for inspection, and timely inform those who do not have the inspection conditions to avoid wasting inspection and testing manpower and material resources.
All users: strictly implement the relevant provisions of Decree 74 of the General Administration of Market Supervision, timely grasp the safety status of elevators under use and management, supervise the standard operation of maintenance operators and maintain elevators on time, pay attention to the elevator safety problems reported by maintenance units, report to the unit leaders in time, and replace unsafe elevator parts in time to avoid unqualified inspection and testing due to unsolved problems, in response to the elevator safety situation, the number of inspection items has increased, and the inspection requirements have become increasingly strict. It is hoped that the users will not have a fluke mentality, and the elevators that no longer have the conditions for use will be shut down in time, and do not run with diseases to ensure the safe operation of the elevators; for those that fail to pass the inspection, decisive measures should be taken to stop using them, actively rectify them, and resume normal use after passing the inspection.
All units should attach great importance to the safety of elevators, and the market supervision department will seriously deal with illegal acts such as the use of uninspected and unqualified elevators in accordance with the law.
