AVIC Elevator Launching Emergency Rescue Exercise for People Trapped in Elevator

To strengthen the rescue personnel elevator emergencyEventResponse ability, improve rescue level, publicize elevator safety knowledge, and ensure the safety of passengers' lives and property. According to the unified deployment of Zunyi Market Supervision and Administration Bureau on "Safety Production Month" activities, a strong atmosphere of "preventing risks, preventing accidents and eliminating hidden dangers" will be created. On the morning of June 28, the elevator emergency rescue drill and safety knowledge publicity activities sponsored by Zunyi Market Supervision Administration and undertaken by AVIC Elevator were carried out in Wujiaba Huanfang Community, Gaoping Town, Zunyi City. Wu Shilu, Deputy Director of Zunyi Market Supervision Administration, Chen Gang, Deputy Director of Market Supervision Administration of Huichuan District, Zunyi City, Wang Zengjie, Director of Gaoping Town Branch of Market Supervision Administration of Huichuan District, Zunyi City, Hu Ming, Party Secretary and Chairman of AVIC Elevator Company, Deputy General Manager Fan Chuanchi, Assistant General Manager Li Hongjie and Yang Xiancheng, Deputy Minister of Quality and Security Chen Xuesong, Pan Lin attended the exercise.
Before the start of the exercise, Yang Xiancheng, the commander-in-chief of the exercise, made safety publicity to the personnel participating in the exercise and explained the relevant exercise arrangements and matters needing attention. At 10:20 a.m., the exercise officially began.
The rescue exercise simulated the sudden failure of five passengers while riding in a residential elevator. After the passengers were trapped, they immediately called for help through the five-party intercom in the car. After receiving the alarm call, members of the AVIC elevator emergency rescue team and technical team immediately rushed to the scene for rescue. After preliminary inspection, it was determined that the elevator was stopped in the middle of the first and second floors, the technicians came to the elevator machine room on the top floor to check the equipment, and manually operated the turning wheel to adjust the elevator to the elevator entrance on the second floor. After the passengers were safely rescued, the staff immediately inquired about their physical condition, and immediately overhauled the equipment, and put the elevator back into use after passing the re-inspection. The whole exercise process from the passenger sent a distress message to be successfully rescued, shared about 10 minutes.
The personnel of the command group, emergency rescue group, security group, logistics support group, and technical expert group of this event performed their duties, actively cooperated, and organized rescue in an orderly manner, which enhanced the emergency response capabilities and coordination of the elevators of each group. The ability has trained the rescue team and enabled the people watching to master the self-protection methods of people trapped in the elevator. The exercise has achieved the expected results.
