Requirements for 1. Application for Installation of Elevator

Within the scope of Yuhang District, non-single-property existing residences (except villas and townhouses) with four or more floors of state-owned land can apply for the installation of elevators if the following conditions are met at the same time:

1. Have a certificate of legal ownership;

2. Not included in the scope and plan of housing expropriation;

3. The elevator-free residential buildings (except villas and townhouses) that have been built and put into use.

Government subsidy for installing elevators in 2.

1. Within Yuhang District, elevators will be installed in existing non-single property houses with four floors or more, and the government will give 200000 yuan/set subsidy. (Except for those included in the comprehensive renovation and upgrading project library of old residential areas of the district government and the total amount of elevators installed in resettlement houses reaches 30% or more of the total unit building volume of the residential area of the property)

2. For the projects included in the comprehensive renovation and upgrading project library of the old residential areas of the district government, the owners of the elevators shall jointly bear the costs of elevator equipment procurement and installation, subsequent operation, use and maintenance management, and the rest of the costs shall be borne by the main body of the renovation of the old residential areas.

3. For projects where the total number of ladders for resettlement houses reaches 30% or more of the total unit building volume in the property community, the owners of the ladders shall jointly bear the expenses for the purchase and installation of elevator equipment, subsequent operation, use and maintenance management, and the remaining expenses shall be jointly guaranteed by the district finance and the local town streets.

3. Soliciting Opinions and Accepting Applications

1. The installation of elevators in existing residential buildings shall be applied by the relevant owners of the unit (this building or this residential area). With the consent of the owners whose exclusive part of the unit (this building or this residential area) accounts for more than 2/3 of the total area of the building and more than 2/3 of the total number of people, a project agreement for the installation of elevators shall be signed and a preliminary plan for the installation of elevators shall be prepared. The preliminary plan should include the plan and elevation of the elevator to be installed, the specific location, size, surrounding environment and green occupation of the elevator.

2. The applicant will sign the agreed elevator installation project agreement and preliminary plan and submit it to the local community neighborhood committee for acceptance.
