This year, the investigation report of an accident in which an installer fell into the bottom pit of an elevator shaft and died was once again a wake-up call for our installation industry. The accident directly caused an economic loss of 1.85 million yuan. From September 17, 2019, an elevator installation company arranged Sun and Yan to prepare for elevator installation in a place in Qidong. On the morning of September 18, sun and Yan used a hoist to hoist the elevator guide rail into the hoistway. sun removed the safety fence at the hoistway entrance. at about 9: 30, the hoist broke down. sun and Yan went to the sixth floor hoistway entrance to repair the hoist. sun squatted on the ground with his back to the hoistway entrance during the repair. when sun got up, the center of gravity fell from the sixth floor hoistway entrance to the pit, yan called 120 emergency number, sun died after rescue.
It is mentioned that the installation operation certificate of the deceased sun mou expires in July 2019, and the accident occurred in September 2019, so the investigation report makes it clear that the elevator installation personnel do not need the operation certificate from June 1, 2019. This is based on the Announcement of the General Administration of Market Supervision on Matters Related to Administrative Licensing of Special Equipment (No. 3 of 2019). In other words, there is no elevator installation item in the document as shown in the figure below.
The cause of this accident is: in order to catch up with the progress, the installation company has too simple to educate and train the elevator installers on safety production. Sun Mou, the installer, removed the safety guardrail at the elevator wellhead, did not wear seat belts and other safety protection measures, and his safety awareness was weak. The installation of elevators is indeed a high-risk operation. Every one of us who installs elevators must always remind us to maintain a high safety awareness. There is no way. In case of a mishap, everyone cannot afford it. Many of our installation companies still need to strengthen the safety training of the installation team at present, especially at present, the flow of personnel in the installation industry is very large, and there are many new personnel in the industry. For newly recruited installers or installation teams, the first lesson is safety training. Many first-line brand installation teams have morning meetings. They will remind everyone of safety precautions before going to work every morning. This is also worth promoting. Of course, the installation fee is now low, resulting in installers only by rushing to install one or two more units to earn some money. Therefore, there are also fatigue operations, illegal operations, and inadequate safety measures. Increasing the installation fee is still a problem we face and a problem we need to solve.
