More than 40 residents can only climb stairs to travel. On the 10th, Mr. Li, who lives in the western district of Riyue mountain area in Huangpi panlong city, said that if the previously broken elevator could be repaired in time, even if the elevator broke down suddenly, everyone would not have no elevator to take.
Mr. Li introduced that he lives in Unit 2, Building 1, West Riyue Shanshui District. The unit has a total of 17 floors, three households on each floor, and two elevators. On December 12 last year, one of the elevators was out of service after a breakdown, and the property was delayed in arranging personnel for maintenance. "When one elevator stops, it is inconvenient for us to travel, and the other elevator often has minor failures." Mr. Li said that he had repeatedly reported the matter to the relevant departments of Huangpi District. In September this year, the staff of the Special Equipment Supervision Section of the Huangpi District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau replied that one of the elevators in the unit was currently out of service due to the need to replace accessories, and the maintenance personnel had been required to ensure the normal operation of the other elevator and repair it in time in case of failure.
At noon on the 9th, the remaining elevator broke down and stopped. Mr. Li could only climb the stairs when he went home that afternoon. "We young people are fine. There are still many old people and children in the building. It is time-consuming and difficult to climb the stairs, which is very inconvenient." Mr. Li said.
On the morning of the 10th, a reporter from Chutian Metropolis Daily came to Unit 2, Building 1, West Riyue Shanshui District. On one of the elevator doors, the property posted a notice on the 9th stating that the elevator inverter was damaged due to a sudden power failure. In order to avoid personal safety, the elevator is now suspended. On another elevator door, the property posted a notice saying that the elevator was suspended due to the failure of the elevator inverter, and the date of payment was December 12, 2019.
The reporter climbed the stairs from the first floor to the top floor of the 17th floor at a faster speed. It took 4 minutes. When he reached the 17th floor, he was panting. Mr. Zhu, a resident on the 17th floor, said that one elevator was shut down a year ago, and the remaining elevators often failed, sometimes locking people in. On the afternoon of the 9th, when he came home, he found that the elevator was stopped, so he had to take the elevator from unit 3 next door to the top floor, and then walk through the roof platform to unit 2. Only then did he go home smoothly. "We still have this method for those who live on the top floor. Those who live on the middle floor can only climb the stairs." Mr. Zhu said that the two elevators were all shut down, which was very inconvenient for everyone.
The reporter came to Unit 1 of the building and found that the property posted the same notice on the 9th, saying that one of the elevators was suspended due to inverter failure. Mr. Li told reporters that there are currently 9 buildings in the district where elevators have been suspended. "As for our unit, both units have stopped." Mr. Li said.
The reporter then came to the residential property office. The staff said that the company leaders had held a meeting in the morning and would take emergency plans to solve the problem. As for when the elevator can be repaired, the staff member said that everyone is not clear at present, but it will definitely be as soon as possible.
