According to him, after initiating the installation of the elevator, it took more than three years to lobby and negotiate from door to door, and finally obtained the consent of all the owners. Relevant departments and units in Nanshan District quickly approved their plan. Among them, the Lanyuan Community Party Committee and the Industry Committee gave great support and help. Especially after the elevator shaft was excavated, it was found that the foundation was fragile, and high-voltage electricity, underground pipeline renovation, The ground garage and greening demolition and other issues followed one after another. The Lanyuan Community Party Committee helped them coordinate and solve the problem one by one in this process, and the elevator construction was completed within 3 months.
Seeing the elevator in front of us, Mr. Li and his family, who live on the 9th floor, are even happier. "We have been looking forward to it for many years. In the future, we can often take our children downstairs and have it." Mr. Li's wife pointed to the golden retriever who kept wagging his tail and said that the dog was 13 years old and could not climb the stairs. He could only take it to the terrace every day. In order to ensure safety, the management office has repeatedly asked professionals to repair it, replaced the floor and re-welded the keel at the bottom of the car. However, due to the long service life, the elevator has been seriously aging, it is difficult to find accessories, the maintenance cost is very high, and there are still frequent failures after repair. Replacing a new elevator is the complete solution.
Replacing a new elevator requires a lot of money, where does the money come from? At a time when it was in trouble, the Nanshan District Old Ladder Renovation Office's publicity about the renovation of old elevators brought hope to Shennan Garden, and all units of old elevator users under the supervision of the jurisdiction can apply for renovation subsidies, each elevator subsidy 50% of the cost of renovation, up to a maximum of 200000 yuan.
The good news made the owners of Shennan Garden excited, and the replacement of the new elevator finally had hope. At the end of 2019, under the guidance of the Nanshan District Old Ladder Reconstruction Office, the owners' committee and the property company worked together to prepare the materials and submitted the application for the renovation of the old elevator.
In 2020, the Nanshan District Old Ladder Reconstruction Office will organize all applicants and enthusiastic owners in the jurisdiction to hold a mobilization meeting in the form of online video to guide the procedures and matters needing attention of the work. Subsequently, the community owners' committee and the property company held a general meeting of owners to carry out fund-raising and elevator renewal bidding. At the end of October 2020, three brand-new elevators were accepted and put into use, making owners and residents happy. At the same time, the property company has applied for the renovation of the old elevators for the other three fire elevators in the residential area, which is expected to completely eliminate the potential safety hazards of the elevators in the residential area this year.
According to the Nanshan District Old Ladder Reconstruction Office, in the six years since the implementation of the renovation of old elevators, Nanshan District has completed the renovation of 891 old elevators (including 859 renovated, 31 renovated and 1 major repaired), with a total subsidy of 0.152 billion yuan, covering 121 residential quarters and industrial and commercial buildings in the jurisdiction, benefiting more than 500,000 residents. In 2020 alone, the renovation of 154 old elevators was completed, and a subsidy of 26.95 million yuan was issued, which handed over a beautiful report card for the renovation of old elevators in the jurisdiction, and also made many residents bid farewell to the "difficulty in going upstairs".
