When they got out of the elevator and found the child missing, the two of them reacted. At this time, the elevator has returned to the upstairs. When the elevator came down again, it was empty. After searching around for her daughter to no avail, the two hurriedly called 110.

The policeman, Ms. Wang, said that she "picked up" a little girl in a confinement center on the 4th floor of the same building of the Hilton Hotel, and hoped that the police would help find her family. After questioning, it was learned that the clothes and physical features of the child "picked up" by Ms. Wang were basically consistent with the missing child reported by Ms. Lei and his wife. After arriving at the scene of the incident, the police informed the police that Ms. Wang took the child to the hall on the first floor. It was verified that the little girl was the missing daughter of Ms. Lei and her wife. It is preliminarily inferred that the little girl walked out of the elevator on the 4th floor after being taken upstairs again by the elevator. Unable to find her parents, she cried loudly in the corridor. Ms. Wang from the confinement center on the 4th floor rushed over and took the little girl back to the office to appease, and then called the police. After confirming that it was a false alarm, the police handed the little girl to Ms. Lei and his wife, told them to take good care of the child, and then returned to the daily patrol.
