On April 15 this year, we will usher in the 6th National Security Education Day for All.

On July 1, 2015, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed the new National Security Law, which designated April 15 each year as the National Security Education Day for all people, and carried out national security publicity and education activities through various forms.

What is National Security?

Article 2 of Chapter 1 of the National Security Law of the the People's Republic of China stipulates: National security refers to the state power, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, the well-being of the people, the sustainable economic and social development and other major interests of the country are relatively free from danger and free from internal and external threats. What are the acts that undermine national security?

The National Security Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that the acts endangering national security mentioned in this Law refer to the following acts endangering national security committed by overseas institutions, organizations or individuals, or by domestic organizations or individuals in collusion with overseas institutions, organizations or individuals, or by domestic organizations or individuals in collusion with the People's Republic of China institutions, organizations or individuals:

(I) conspiring to subvert the government, split the country, and overthrow the socialist system;

(II) to participate in espionage organizations or accept missions from espionage organizations and their agents;

(III) stealing, spying on, buying or illegally providing state secrets;

(IV) instigating, seducing and bribe state functionaries to defect;

(V) carrying out other sabotage activities that endanger national security.

The state will not only punish these acts according to law, but also prevent and stop them!

National Security Education Day for AllWhat is the meaning?

1. is conducive to implementing the "overall national security concept" put forward by the general secretary ". On April 15, 2014, the General Secretary clearly put forward the "overall national security concept" for the first time at the first meeting of the Central National Security Committee, which is the fundamental policy of the Communist Party of China to safeguard national security in the new era.

The national security law takes the "overall national security concept" as the guiding ideology, stipulates a series of national security systems different from the traditional national security concept, extends the connotation of national security to political, economic, cultural and social fields, and highlights the maintenance of national security. National security is not only the task of specialized agencies, but also the obligations and responsibilities of all state agencies, social organizations and citizens.
