1.
Who is responsible for elevator safety management?
The "Special Equipment Safety Law" clearly stipulates that the elevator user shall be responsible for the safety of the elevator. For residential elevators, the elevator user is the entrusted property management company.

What are the safety management responsibilities of the user?
(I) hire qualified elevator maintenance units to carry out daily maintenance services;
(II) the establishment and long-term preservation of elevator safety technical files;
(III) posting safety precautions and warning signs in the elevator car or at the entrance and exit;
(IV) effective elevator use signs are posted at prominent positions of the elevator;
The (V) shall be equipped with safety management personnel who have obtained the special equipment operation personnel certificate in accordance with the regulations;
(VI) keep the connection between the elevator emergency alarm device and the rescue service unobstructed;
(VII) supervise and cooperate with the elevator installation, transformation, major maintenance, daily maintenance work;
If the (VIII) finds that there is a hidden danger of accident, the elevator shall be suspended and handled in time;
(IX) the failure of the elevator causes passengers to be trapped, quickly organize rescue and report in time according to regulations.

Related Responsibilities of Elevator Maintenance Unit
The maintenance of (I) elevators shall be carried out by the elevator manufacturing unit or the installation, transformation and repair unit licensed in accordance with the Special Equipment Safety Law;
The (II) maintenance unit shall sign a daily maintenance contract with the elevator user, and the maintenance unit shall carry out daily maintenance on the maintained elevator every 15 days. The maintenance contents shall be recorded and signed and filed by the on-site maintenance personnel and the safety administrator of the user;
(III) elevator maintenance unit shall set up a 24-hour maintenance duty telephone, and the maintenance personnel shall rush to the scene to carry out on-site rescue within 30 minutes after receiving the fault report of the trapped person in the elevator;
A maintenance unit that (IV) an elevator shall be responsible for the safety performance of the elevators it maintains.

When the elevator fails, the electrical circuit of the door may fail. If the elevator starts abnormally when the door is forcibly removed, it is easy to cut and cause personal injury. For the same reason, trapped passengers should not climb from the skylight by themselves. The correct approach is for passengers to wait patiently for professional rescuers in the car. Passengers must not do extreme actions such as kicking, prying, picking, jumping, climbing, etc., which are very dangerous. If the elevator is not in the flat position when opening the door, trying to jump and climb out of the car is equally dangerous and may fall into the elevator shaft.

Tighten your shoelaces before riding, and watch out for loose, dragging clothing (e. g., long skirts, dresses, etc.) to prevent them from being dragged by elevator edges, comb plates, apron plates, or inner cover plates.
When preparing to take the ride, you should take it in sequence. Please do not push each other, especially when there are elderly people, children and people with weak eyesight.
When stepping into the escalator, you should pay attention to leaving your feet from the edge of the step, stand on the yellow safety warning frame of the step pedal, and do not step on the junction of the two steps to avoid falling.
When riding, stand facing the direction of step movement and hold the handrail with one hand to prevent falling due to emergency stop or other accidents such as pushing by others. If the handrail belt is not in synchronization with the step due to failure, pay attention to adjust the position of the hand at any time.
When leaving, lift your feet quickly along the movement of the elevator, step across the comb board and land on the front board to prevent tripping or shoes from being caught.

In addition, please do not touch the shoes or clothes on the escalator glass or gap, to avoid unnecessary injuries caused by hanging and dragging during the step movement; when leaving, please do not stay at the exit of the escalator or moving sidewalk, so as not to affect other passengers. Children must be accompanied by an adult when traveling on the escalator.
