The most difficult problem to solve in the transformation of honest residential area is mostly the installation of elevators. This problem is also a problem that residents in old residential areas, especially high-level residents, are eagerly concerned about. Just imagine that office workers have to climb 5-6 floors of stairs after work after a hard day's work. In addition, there are more elderly people living in old huts, with inconvenient legs and feet, and they need an elevator to facilitate their lives. Therefore, the installation of elevators has become one of the core issues in the transformation of old buildings. At the same time, the residents of the old cottage saw the glimmer of hope that the elevator they had in mind would soon enter their lives.
But the problem came, and the residents were divided. High-rise residents are naturally willing to install elevators, because elevators are very convenient for them. Everyone cheered and agreed with both hands. However, the residents on the ground floor were not happy and did not agree to install the elevator. Low floor lighting is not enough, after the installation of the elevator, the home is lack of lighting. In addition, the crowd gathered at the elevator entrance, the voice was noisy, and the operation of the elevator itself would also produce noise. All kinds of factors added together, the quality of life of the low-rise residents decreased, and the privacy could not be protected as it should be. More importantly, the residents at the bottom do not need to take the elevator, but they still have to pay a certain fee every year, which is really unfair. In order to reconcile the contradiction between the high-rise residents and the bottom residents, the shared elevator was produced. Sharing elevators is similar to sharing bicycles, and there are services when needed. Whether to install the elevator through voting, more democratic, installation and maintenance costs need to be allocated according to the height of the floor, more reasonable.

Mr. Li on the 6th floor told reporters, "We were very happy when we learned that we were going to build a shared elevator. It would be more convenient to take the children out, but after such a long time, there has been no result. It is better to climb the stairs for exercise". The reporter learned that most residents expressed dissatisfaction.
Kaiyuan District plans to build a total of 10 elevators, none of which are now under construction or shutdown. Some of the elevators that are planned to facilitate residents only build steel frames, and some only complete the most basic elevator shaft project. Not only is the Kaiyuan community, the status of other communities is the same. The three or three shared elevators in Chunyuan Community are only under planning. The progress of the project is uneven and there is still some time before they are completed and put into use. In the residential area where the construction of the shared elevator was completed, it was not happy either. Contradictions had already appeared at the beginning of the start of the shared elevator. Although efforts were made to reconcile, problems occurred again in the process of completion and use. One person took the elevator for one yuan at a time, even if many people took the elevator for a fee, it was also their will. In this way, the situation of competing the elevator and rubbing the elevator appeared, thus increased the probability of inducing neighborhood contradictions.

The original intention of sharing elevators is to improve the living standards of residents in old communities, and the starting point is good. There are many reasons for the widespread disappointment today. The person in charge of the engineering company said that we do not want to complete the task as soon as possible, but there are indeed objective difficulties. Many factors are added together, and it is difficult to think whether the construction period is delayed. The person in charge said that the shared elevator can definitely be built, but if there is no government funding, these start-up construction plans will not go back to the original, and there will be certain difficulties in building Chengdu. The relevant government departments mainly consider the problem of risk prevention and control. The investment capital of shared elevators is huge, and the risks must be considered. However, the unfinished projects in many areas have forced the relevant departments to consider more carefully. For shared elevators, government funding is a charcoal fire in the snow.
Some experts said that there are many contradictions in the installation of elevators in old residential areas, and it is almost difficult to reach a consensus. Even if it is built, there is no clear boundary between who bears the main responsibility for personal accidents. The solution to these problems cannot be achieved in 3 to 5 days and will take a long time. Judging from the current situation, the concept of large-scale construction of shared elevators across the country is not mature enough, various project models are still being explored, and the only common ground is huge financial support and unchanged original intention.
