On the evening of November 14th, Ms. Zhou, who lives in the Jiangnan New Mileage Community in Hefei City, took the elevator home from get off work as usual, but she encountered "elevator panic".
Elevator "top" residents injured
This morning, the reporter saw Ms. Zhou in the hospital. She had just finished the examination. The elevator accident the day before yesterday caused multiple injuries to her body.
Ms. Zhou said that after she got home from get off work and entered the elevator, the elevator lost control and rose directly from the first floor to the 31st floor. At that time, after entering, I found that the elevator was not normal. The door was not closed, but only half closed. After half closed, the elevator went up.
Ms. Zhou said that she and two other elevator passengers pressed the 13th and 25th floors respectively. After that, the elevator went up for a while and the door closed. Unexpectedly, the elevator did not stop at the designated floor, but rushed all the way to the 31st floor of the top floor before stopping. The huge impact hurt Ms. Zhou.
Ms. Zhou said that the elevator rushed directly to the 31st floor, and the inertia was particularly large. At that time, the three people they were in the elevator fell inside. I was on the back of my head and back, and I couldn't get up at that time.
Rescuers quickly rushed to the scene and rescued the trapped three people. It can be seen that the elevator door can no longer be opened normally, but was forcibly opened by firefighters from the outside. From Ms. Zhou's outpatient medical records, the reporter saw that the diagnosis was spinal fracture and lumbar fracture.
Ms. Zhou said that the elevator rushed to the top too fast, and she couldn't respond because she didn't know how to save herself, and two people were slightly injured.
The elevator has been shut down in the accident. Residents complain about many problems.
Subsequently, the reporter came to the incident, Hefei Jiangnan New Mileage District Building 6. There are a total of three elevators in this building, and the elevator that happened has been out of service, with fences around it. The other two are still in normal use. Next to the elevator, there is also an elevator maintenance instruction posted by the property, which reads "the fault has been solved in time to eliminate the specific hidden danger", and the date of signing is September 11, 2021.
Residents of Building 6 said that the elevator was unstable and would definitely be afraid. There must be a shadow in their hearts.
Reporters saw the elevator inspection mark in the elevator running in building 6, valid until may 2022.
Residents told reporters that the elevator itself is not very good, other elevators are inductive, this elevator is not inductive, for example, you put your hand in, other elevators are open, it put this hand in it and clip it to you.
Ms. Zhou said that there have been elevators that trapped people and dropped from the fourth floor to the first floor before, but they were all minor accidents. It was the first time that the elevator rushed to the top.
Later, the reporter came to the property company. The staff here said that the person in charge was busy and it was not convenient to accept the interview.
Ms. Zhou said that after the incident, the residential property had visited her and promised to let her see a doctor first and then pay for it later. She had not paid for the time being anyway, and now she was paying for it herself.
