November 23, Xinwei Town, Xiang'an District, Xiamen CityA worker at a construction site reported to the police that the elevator accessories placed in the site were stolen.
After receiving the police, the Xinwei Police Station and the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Xiang'an Public Security Bureau quickly intervened in the investigation.
After on-site inventory,The stolen items include the main board of the elevator power-off cabinet, the control board of the control box, the light curtain, the speed limiter and other accessories. The number of stolen accessories ranges from several to dozens, with a total loss of more than 470000 yuan.
According to the person in charge of the construction site, personnel are arranged to be on duty day and night on weekdays, and all stolen accessories are placed in the basement of the construction site. If foreign vehicles enter the duty personnel can find them in time, even if they do not drive, a large number of accessories will be moved out of the construction site. In addition, the person in charge also told the police to ask the workers in the early stage to learn that the time when the accessories were stolen was roughly between November 17 and 19.

Wei Yongyi, a police officer handling the case, said, "There is a lawn slope near the parking lot at the gate of the construction site. There is a row of fences on the slope. During the investigation, it was found that a section in the middle of the fence has been damaged, just enough for an adult to enter. Therefore, the suspect is likely to enter the construction site from here and then carry out theft."
During several days of visits and investigations, the police learned that they were working at the construction site.Xue moulong, a worker, has recently sent express packages to outside the province many times and often returns late after work. in addition, he has close contact with Xue mou, a fellow countryman.,According to workers' reports, Xue came to Xiamen not long ago and has not had a job. He often goes in and out with Xue and has been to other places. Xue's abnormal actions quickly attracted the attention of the police.
After analysis and judgment, the police gradually grasped the evidence of Xue Moulong and his fellow countryman Xue Mou stealing property from the construction site. At this time, Xue Mou had returned to his hometown in Hunan. In order to arrest the suspect and recover the stolen property as soon as possible, on November 30, the criminal investigation brigade of Xiang'an Public Security Bureau divided into two routes and sent police to Hunan and Xiang'an Xinwei Town to arrest Xue and Xue Moulong and successfully captured them.
After interrogation, the two confessed the process of committing the crime.
After interrogation, Xue Moulong is a native of Hunan. He is 32 years old this year. He works at a construction site in Xinwei, Xiang'an, and he is a fellow villager with Xue.
Xue Moulong explained that on November 16, Xue took a plane to Jinjiang, Quanzhou, and then rented a car to Xiamen to find himself,Xue Moulong told Xue that his own construction site had recently brought in a batch of elevator accessories. The two hit it off and decided to steal the accessories and sell them for money.In order to prevent being discovered by the personnel on duty at the construction site, the two men quietly came to the parking lot at the gate of the construction site on the night of the 16th after the construction site was shut down. After stopping the car, they drilled into the construction site through the broken hole of the fence, then dived into the basement to store the elevator accessories, pried open the unopened wooden box with the accessories with the screwdriver they carried with them, and stole the accessories.
After the crime, the stolen goods were quickly transferred and the stolen accessories were sold through various channels. After investigation, Xue moulong and his wife came to the construction site three times during the period from the 16th to the 19th to carry out the theft. after they got it, Xue immediately returned to their hometown in Hunan. the elevator accessories they stole were sold to many places outside the province at a price lower than the market price.In addition, the police also found that Xue had been stealing in many places across the country in the past two months, and he only picked on construction sites. Most of the stolen items were elevator accessories.
At present, Xue and Xue Moulong have been criminally detained by Xiang'an police on suspicion of theft, and the case is still under investigation.
It is reported that after the incident, Xiang 'an police quickly started the mechanism to solve the case and recover the stolen goods. According to the suspect's active confession and search for logistics order information, they successively sent police forces to many places outside the province to recover the stolen goods. By the time of publication, more than 70 stolen elevator accessories had been recovered and more than 360000 yuan of economic losses had been recovered.
