After an old man fell on the escalator of the subway, passengers, subway security inspectors and police on duty successively provided help. Fortunately, the old man was not in serious health.
On February 16, at the Nankou Station of Huixin West Street on Beijing Metro Line 5, a white-haired old man fell back directly because his left foot was not stepped on. After rolling down several steps from the elevator, the old man covered his head with his hands as the escalator continued to rise, and may fall down or get involved in the gap of the running escalator again at any time. There were no passengers up and down the escalator. The situation was extremely critical.
At this time, a male passenger taking the downward escalator next door immediately ran down the downward escalator he was taking and then quickly ran to the fallen old man. At the same time, subway security inspector Zhang Hongjian found the fallen old man after hearing the "clanging" sound and immediately ran over to press the switch button on the lower right part of the elevator.
The security inspector and the kind-hearted male passenger helped the fallen old man to a safe position at the exit and handed it to Jiang Guoli, Lu Jie, the police officers of the Datun Station Police Station of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau's Public Transport Corps, and the station chief on duty at the subway station.
Fortunately, the old man wore a thick down jacket and a hat on his upper body, which played a buffering role when he fell down, avoiding hard knocks with the edges and corners of the escalator steps.
After the police checked that the old man was only slightly bruised, the old man said he did not need 120 first aid. The police asked where the home was, which community, whether they had a mobile phone, ID card, etc., perhaps because of a fright just fell, the old man could not remember anything.
