"Some residents are used to sweeping the garbage in the building hall into the gap between the elevator door and the elevator car. Some residents throw cigarette butts everywhere, which may cause the elevator door chute to be blocked and the door cannot be closed." A maintenance officer said. According to his introduction, elevator failures are often caused by human factors rather than equipment. When they repair, they often find small stones, sand, melon seeds, peanut skins, cigarette butts and other garbage in the chute at the lower entrance of the elevator.

The Elevator Emergency Response Center of the Municipal Market Supervision Administration conducted a statistical analysis of the causes of elevator failures in the city and found that elevator failures caused by human causes accounted for nearly 40% of all elevator failure categories. It is reported that the municipal elevator emergency disposal platform system was officially put into operation on July 25, 2018. Up to now, a total of 28060 sets of vertical elevator data have been collected and imported. Among them, 3070 new units will be collected and imported elevator data will be added in 2021. The elevator emergency disposal platform, as the emergency disposal command and dispatch department of vertical elevators in use in the city, locks the information of faulty elevators through data and geographic information systems, and dispatches relevant maintenance units to carry out timely rescue by police receiving personnel, thus constructing a three-level rescue response system. The platform uses "96365" as the elevator emergency rescue line in Cangzhou City, providing elevator rescue and fault acceptance services 24 hours a day, as well as accepting public inquiries and complaints about elevator safety.
When citizens encounter elevator failure while taking the elevator, they can directly call the "96365" hotline and provide the 6-digit identification code on the emergency response sign. The police officer can quickly lock the specific address of the failed elevator. The emergency response center will conduct unified dispatch to the maintenance unit and the public rescue unit to ensure that the trapped persons are rescued as soon as possible.

If the elevator is full, please wait patiently for the next service of the elevator;
If the elevator does not open the door after the stop, you can press the door button to open the car door, do not forcibly open the car door, otherwise it is likely to fall into the shaft accident;
