"In the past two days, elevator 1 has been shut down, as if someone urinating in it." Recently, the owner of Unit 2, Building 44, Bedilugano Community, 3rd Bridge, Guiyang, was a little upset. The unit originally had two elevators in normal operation. On May 25, one elevator was suddenly shut down due to a fault, leaving only one elevator to work, making it very inconvenient for everyone to go upstairs and downstairs.

On May 27, the owner of the unit reported to reporters that after 12 noon on May 25, the elevator of Unit 1 was suddenly shut down.
"When we checked the elevator monitoring, we found that someone was urinating in the elevator before it was shut down." The owner who reported the situation said that in the surveillance video, a man entered the elevator. About a few seconds later, he urinated under the elevator button. After urinating, the elevator just stopped on the first floor, and the man left the elevator trembling.

After the incident, the property staff found that the man urinating in the elevator was the father of an owner. In the past 2 days, the old man's son did not go to the property to negotiate elevator maintenance.
"It's too difficult for people in a unit to squeeze up and down an elevator these days." The owner told reporters.

After 3: 00 p.m. on may 27, the reporter came to bedilugano district. In the monitoring room, the property staff brought up the surveillance video at that time.
The reporter saw that at 12:30 noon on May 25, an old man entered the elevator and pressed the button on the first floor, and then began to urinate. When the elevator reached the first floor, he left the elevator.
The elevator entrance is posted with a reminder that it is not allowed to defecate anywhere.
"After the elevator reached the negative second floor, the door could not be opened." Director Li of the property company told reporters that within a few minutes after the old man urinated, the elevator door could not be opened. Later, the staff of the elevator company came to check and found that two circuit boards were burned out.
Director Li said that they have been communicating with the old man's son, but for some unknown reason, the old man's son has not come to negotiate so far.

The reporter then called the old man's son, Mr. Zhou. after 5 pm, he came to the property management office of the community.
Mr. Zhou said that he had been in contact with the staff of the property company, but the communication between the two sides was not good, and he caught a cold these two days, so he did not deal with the matter in time.
Regarding his father's urination in the elevator, Mr. Zhou said that his father did not mean it. The old man suffered from diabetes, cerebral infarction, prostatitis and other chronic diseases. At that time, he should have been suffocated and his body could not bear to urinate.
"It can't be said that my father burned the circuit board when he urinated. At ordinary times, the cleaning aunt mopped the floor and did not completely dry the water. Water stains often seeped into the elevator." Mr. Zhou said that the video captured his father urinating in the elevator, and he is not able to make too many excuses now.
Mr. Zhou said that after negotiation, the two sides have reached a consensus that he will bear the maintenance fee of 1500 yuan, and the remaining 500 yuan will be borne by the property company.
After 8 p.m., the reporter called Director Li of the community property company. She said that she did reach a consensus. Mr. Zhou will bear 1500 yuan. If the property company does not bear 500 yuan, she will pay 500 yuan out of her own pocket, hoping to repair the elevator as soon as possible to facilitate the owner's travel.
