In August last year, Shi Xinyue's family moved to Anton Community. Because I live on the 6th floor, I usually feel out of breath when I go upstairs to carry some heavy things in my hand. At that time, there were already two additional elevators officially put into use in Anton residential area, and the additional elevator project at the next door opening had also started one after another. Shi Xinyue could not say how envious he was. On the other hand, when there was no movement in his building, Shi Xinyue tried to "break the ice" and took the initiative to lead the ladder.
In February this year, after learning about the relevant policies of the neighborhood committee, Shi Xinyue began to mobilize the residents in the building to form an autonomous group for the ladder. But because they are new residents, many residents are a little wary of this new face, and they are turned away if they want to communicate. They were "closed" at the beginning of the work ". "Neighbors have bad feelings when they see strange faces, so they open a small crack in the door when communicating, and some don't even open the door." Shi Xinyue recalled.

Du Huijun, who has lived for most of his life, joined the autonomous group, which opened a "breakthrough" for the group to communicate with residents ". Even so, after the first round of intention to touch, the result is not ideal, half of the 24 households in the building are opposed or wait-and-see attitude, so that the installation of elevators once again stalled.
The epidemic has ushered in a new opportunity to install elevators.
With the severity of the epidemic situation in March, the consultation was forced to stop. Shi Xinyue devoted himself to the work of nucleic acid sampling volunteers. Later, when she learned that the neighborhood committee called on young people to serve as assistants to the building team leader to assist the building team leader in solving the life problems encountered by the elderly residents in the building, such as dispensing and group buying, she did not hesitate to take up the job.
"Group buying and nucleic acid code screenshots, which require mobile phones to operate, are very difficult for the elderly, but they can still be easily handled for us, so as one of the few young people in the building, I didn't think much about it at that time, so I signed up as an assistant to the head of the building." Shi Xinyue told reporters.
At that time, there was a pure old family living in the building. Shi Xinyue was shut out due to the consultation of the ladder. However, during the epidemic control period, Shi Xinyue, an assistant to the building team leader, was asked for help because there were not enough living materials and he would not use his mobile phone for group buying. Shi Xinyue, who received the message, immediately came to ask about the needs of the old couple, and helped the old man buy eggs, vegetables and other daily necessities many times, which moved the old couple.
After two months of sealing and controlling life and 61 days of getting along day and night, Shi Xinyue not only tried his best to serve the residents, but also established a deep "comrade-in-arms" friendship with his neighbors. This new face also left a warm and responsible impression in everyone's heart.
In this way, unintentional "turnaround" came unexpectedly. In late June, the consultation on the addition of elevators in the building was restarted. After the autonomous group frankly analyzed with the residents the convenience of installing elevators, some residents who had previously opposed it gradually accepted it, including the old couple, which surprised and delighted Shi Xinyue.
"In fact, when I came out to be an assistant to the team leader of the building, I just wanted to help the residents in need in the building, but in the process of helping them, everyone quickly became familiar with it and established trust. In fact, this is very important for advancing the ladder." Shi Xinyue told reporters. "Moreover, in the process of material handling and distribution, many residents also feel that it will be more convenient if there is an elevator."
Today, building 19 has successfully completed the signing of the installation of elevators and is expected to start construction in October. I believe that soon, residents will be able to take the elevator as they wish and enjoy the convenient life of up and down direct access.
