Recently, residents of Building 22, Daguan South Liuyuan, Hangzhou, reported to the Qianjiang Evening News that they were installing elevators in Unit 1 of their building and had paid part of the money, but the installation of elevators had been delayed again and again. "now it has been suspended and there is not even a worker left".
The installation of the elevator project will be suspended for 2 months.
Residents said they had already paid more than 200,000 yuan.
On the morning of August 7, the reporter rushed to Daguan South Sixth Court.
Unit 1 of Building 22 is a 7-storey building with 4 households on each floor. At the entrance of the unit building, the reporter saw a one-man-high construction enclosure piled with sand, wooden boards, slates, etc., and dozens of centimeters of steel bars exposed above the elevator shaft, which already showed signs of corrosion. There was a lot of water in the elevator shaft, and the wellhead was covered by boards and sticks. The walls, with wooden boards, are temporary passageways for residents to enter and exit.
Mr. Jin, who lives on the fifth floor of Unit 1 of Building 22, is the leader of the elevator installation in this unit.
"In the early days, we asked for opinions, including how much money each household would pay, and we soon decided. The elevator company is a community recommend. The deposit paid in January this year,$72000 in advance."Mr. Jin told reporters that the company that installed the elevator was Zhejiang Baomi Holding Co., Ltd. According to the elevator installation agreement signed between the owner and the company,The total cost of the elevator is 560000 yuan, and the construction acceptance will be completed within 100 days from the commencement date. The payment method is based on the construction progress node of the project, which is divided into 4 payments.
"Before the New Year,We made the first deposit.Construction started on May 8. The foundation pit was dug first. The foundation pit was completed in about 20 days. The foundation pit is dug,The second sum 140000 overpaid them.However, after the foundation pit has been dug, it is said that it will be maintained for a period of time. After the maintenance time has passed, the project has been delayed until now."
During this period, the owner kept asking the installation company when the elevator steel structure could enter the site. "At the end of June, the owner asked that he would come in after July 8. On July 11, when we saw that the steel structure had not yet come, we asked when we could enter the site. The group replied to us: The aluminum plates on the steel structure are now being painted and installed, and they can enter the site by July 22 at the latest. Before entering the site on the 22nd, the reply on July 24 said: the steel structure is ready, the aluminum plate has not been installed, and the hoisting will be carried out around the end of the month."
However, until August 7, the steel structure still failed to enter the site.
There are three people over 90 years old.
Residents are looking forward to the completion.
"The money has been handed in, and everyone is waiting to install an elevator. There are three elderly people over 90 years old in our unit. My own father is 93 years old. He hopes that the elevator will be installed every day and can go downstairs for activities. Stop there now." Mr. Jin told reporters that the latest news so far is that someone will be arranged next Friday.
But one day no one came in, everyone's heart is still not bottom.
On the third floor of Unit 1, Building 22, the reporter met another resident.
"Our family lives on the third floor. For us, elevators can be installed or not. However, there are many elderly people living upstairs. It is really inconvenient to have no elevator up and down. We have no objection. If we have the third floor, we will pay about 10000 yuan per household. Before the Chinese New Year, everyone paid a deposit, but it took so long to fix it. Especially on rainy days, the old people dare not go downstairs. Looking at the other buildings installed, we were very anxious."
Elevators have been installed in Unit 1 of 21 buildings not far from Unit 1 of 22 buildings.
According to the information on the completion board, the elevator of Unit 1 in Building 21 was completed in May this year.
The elevator has also been installed in Unit 1 of Building 16. According to the notice posted in the corridor, the installation of the elevator was started on April 20, 2021 and delivered in September 2021. It took four or five months from the start to the delivery.
The manufacturer said that the steel structure will enter the site this Friday.

On the afternoon of August 7, the hourly news reporter contacted the elevator installation manufacturer and Nanyuan Community in Daguan Street.

Now the processing plant side of the dispute has been resolved, the steel structure will enter the site as soon as possible, next Friday will enter the site, the installation is also relatively fast."
The staff of Nanyuan Community in Daguan Street said that the elevator company had installed elevators in Nanqi Garden and others in Nanyuan Community. After learning about the installation of elevators in Unit 1 of 22 buildings, the community, including the streets, was following up: "The latest communication is that the steel structure will enter the site next Friday. The community will also reconfirm with the elevator company next Wednesday and Thursday. The community will continue to follow up on this matter and hope that the elevator company can fulfill its promise to enter the site on time."
