Elevator accident warning notice: 4 elevator people have been killed in August, so all elevator units should pay enough attention!
Since August this year, there have been a number of fatal accidents related to elevator installation and repair operations across the country, resulting in the death of four operators, exposing outstanding problems such as inadequate implementation of the main responsibilities of elevator installation units, maintenance units and users.
(I) of August 4, 2022, an elevator maintenance personnel of XXX mechanical and electrical engineering co., ltd. repaired the elevator alone in a building and did not put the pit emergency stop switch in the "stop" state. the elevator was in normal operation, resulting in the death of the maintenance personnel squeezed between the elevator car and the shaft wall.
(II) of August 7, 2022, two elevator maintenance personnel of XXX Elevator Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. repaired villa elevators in a residential area. One maintenance personnel did not put the elevator in the "overhaul" state after entering the car roof and did not verify the space size at the top of the hoistway. Another maintenance personnel controlled the elevator to move up in the car in a normal state, causing the car roof personnel to be squeezed to die on the car roof and the top of the hoistway.
(III) August 16, 2022, when XX Elevator Engineering Co., Ltd. was installing elevators in the factory building of XX Technology Co., Ltd., a falling accident occurred from a height, causing 1 death.
(IV) August 18, 2022, an elevator maintenance personnel of XXX Elevator Co., Ltd. repaired the elevator alone in a residential area. He entered the top of the car without putting the elevator in the "maintenance" state. He was squeezed between the elevator car and the shaft wall and died after accidentally falling.
(I) elevator operators must press the "overhaul" and "emergency stop" switches when entering the car roof and pit;
(II) must wear labor protection articles;
(III) must be certified, not single operation;
When the (IV) elevator is abnormal, it must be able to judge and enter the safe-haven space of the car roof and bottom pit;
The (V) shall not short-circuit the safety circuit in violation of regulations;
The (VI) shall not operate in dangerous areas such as the inner and outer sides of the vertical landing door and the car roof guardrail.

(VIII) all elevator units to perform their legal management duties, strengthen the supervision and inspection of on-site construction, urge all elevator personnel to operate according to regulations, and put an end to illegal operations!
Elevator users should carefully select elevator installation units and elevator maintenance units, perform statutory management duties, inspect the operation conditions, and correct illegal operations in a timely manner.
