On October 13, the market supervision bureau of Shangri-La City, Yunnan Province announced a case in which the elevator maintenance unit did not strictly implement the safety technical specifications.

It is understood that on May 3, 2022, when the law enforcement officers of the Shangri-La City Market Supervision Administration conducted an elevator inspection of a hospital in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, they found that the confirmation columns of multiple items in the hospital's maintenance records were empty, so they filed a case for investigation. On May 24, Ye Moumou, director of the Shangri-La Branch of Yunnan Moumou Elevator Co., Ltd., inquired about the investigation.

After investigation, the parties signed an elevator maintenance contract with XXX hospital, and the three elevator maintenance contracts are valid until November 25, 2022. However, the parties did not strictly implement the safety technical specifications in the maintenance, in violation of the the People's Republic of China Special Equipment Safety Law. The parties actively cooperated with the investigation of the market supervision department, truthfully stated the illegal facts and provided evidence materials on their own initiative. In accordance with relevant regulations, the market supervision department ordered the parties to correct the illegal acts and imposed a fine of 36000 yuan.
