Recently, there was a sudden power outage in Youpin Chengbang District, Baiyun District, Guiyang City, while the backup power supply of the elevators in the district did not start, causing some owners to be trapped in the elevators.
This scene took place at about 8: 30 p. m. on October 30. the elevator in building 12 of youpin city-state district was shut down due to a sudden power failure, and 16 people were trapped in the elevator. Firefighters rushed to the scene and rescued all the people successfully. At the same time, Mr. Zhang from Building 14 of Youpin City-State took his daughter home and was trapped in the elevator.
Mr. Zhang: I was trapped for more than an hour. I was in our neighborhood group and the property management group. Only two neighbors came to the 16th floor where I was trapped to comfort us.
Mr. Zhang and his daughter were trapped in the elevator for an hour before they were rescued by the elevator company staff. Fortunately, he and his daughter were all right. Although more than two months have passed, the doubts in the hearts of the owners of the community have not been dispelled, that is, why the backup power supply of the elevator has not been activated?
Mr. Zhang: The property and the house have long said that they have a backup power supply, but they are often trapped in power outages.
Mr. Ren, owner of Youpin City-State Community: I have always suspected that there is no backup power supply in the community. High-rise buildings are necessary. In the purchase contract, it has a diesel engine room as backup power. According to the explanation given to us by the following property, the maintenance cost of the diesel engine room is too high.
Mr. Ren, the owner of the residential area, said that there was indeed a diesel engine room to generate electricity on the planning drawing of the residential area, which was used as a backup power supply for elevators, but in fact most buildings in the residential area did not have a diesel engine room.
Mr. Zhang: Whether the city-state in Baiyun District has backup power or not, please let us know. If not, urge them to make backup power.
The reporter came to Youpin City-State Property Company with questions, and the staff refused the reporter's interview with the person in charge at the meeting. Later, the reporter came to the neighborhood committee in the jurisdiction. The staff of the neighborhood committee told the reporter that the excellent city-state did not have a diesel generator room dedicated to elevators, and the residential housing and the property belonged to the same company before. Now they have split up. They are also actively coordinating with relevant departments to deal with the problem of spare electricity for elevators in the residential area. Mr. Ren also reflected the matter to the Baiyun District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau.
Staff of the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Baiyun District, Guiyang City: The community has a backup power supply, but the two power supplies of the elevator are drawn from a substation, so it is useless if there is a power outage. We jointly with the housing and construction department and informed the housing development and the property to negotiate together to divert one of the power supplies to another substation.
During the phone call, the staff of Baiyun District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau promised Mr. Ren that they would work with other departments as soon as possible to deal with the problem of spare power supply for elevators in the community and give the owners a satisfactory answer.
