On January 12, 2023, the "Elevator Engineering Technology Competition of the 2022 Belt and Road Initiative and BRICS skills Development and technological Innovation Competition" was successfully concluded in Chengdu Industrial Vocational and Technical College. After fierce competition, Guizhou AVIC Elevator Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "AVIC Elevator") won the best organization award. Among them, employee Feng Hai won the first prize, employees Xie Daohong and Wen Shihao won the second prize, employee Zhang Jianlan won the third prize, and employees Yu Kunzhi and Feng Guoshun won the best instructor award.
It is reported that the competition is jointly sponsored by the Chinese Council of the BRICS Business Council, the Belt and Road Initiative and the BRICS International Alliance for skills Development, the China Invention Association, and the Sino-Foreign people-to-people Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education.48 contestants participated in the competition, divided into staff group and student group, a total of 5 modules of competition, including practical operation, VR simulation and other projects.
