On December 14, 2021, according to the report, the law enforcement officers of the Market Supervision Bureau of Zhenjiang High-tech Zone conducted daily supervision and inspection on a commercial building of a group Zhenjiang Real Estate Co., Ltd. and found that 14 elevators had not been regularly inspected.
After investigation, there are 27 elevators in towers A, B and C of the commercial building, one of which has not been entered into the Jiangsu special equipment safety intelligence service platform and has never been inspected. The remaining 26 elevators can be checked on the Jiangsu special equipment safety intelligence service platform, but all have exceeded the inspection validity period.
On December 17, 2021, the Market Supervision Bureau of Zhenjiang High-tech Zone issued the "Special Equipment Safety Supervision Instruction" to the parties concerned, requiring the parties to immediately stop using all uninspected elevators. On January 4, 2022, when law enforcement officers reviewed the elevators in the commercial building again, the parties still failed to stop the uninspected elevators as required by the instruction.
According to reports, the behavior of the parties violated the provisions of the third paragraph of Article 40 of the the People's Republic of China Special Equipment Safety Law. On April 29, 2022, the Market Supervision Bureau of Zhenjiang High-tech Zone, in accordance with the provisions of Article 84, Item 1 of the the People's Republic of China Special Equipment Safety Law, ordered the parties to immediately stop using uninspected elevators, and imposed a heavier penalty. An administrative penalty of a fine of 220000 yuan.
On the same day, the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau also announced ten typical cases of exemption and light punishment in 2022, and typical cases of intellectual property protection and foreign-related intellectual property protection in 2022 to further optimize the legalized business environment and support the healthy development of market entities.
