On February 3, residents of Building 5 of Century Tang Dynasty Center reported that during the Spring Festival, elevators frequently broke down, elevator doors were often stuck, keys were often miscoded, and many slipping incidents occurred. Many residents did not dare to take elevators. In addition, there were many problems in the community, such as serious damage to the unit doors, frost on the corridor, imperfect fire-fighting facilities, and so on.
On the morning of February 4, the reporter came to the Century Tang People's Center Community in Longfeng District and conducted a visit and investigation on the matter.
At about 9: 00 on February 4, Ms. Ma, a resident of Century Tang Dynasty Center District, told reporters: "there are three units in Building 5. Since last year, the elevators of these three units have often failed, either the elevator doors cannot be closed or people are trapped in the elevator. Falling incidents have occurred from time to time, but fortunately there have been no injuries. During the Spring Festival this year, the elevator shaft often heard the sound of water, and the elevator failure was even more serious, there are faults such as key garbled codes and multi-layer buttons flashing at the same time."
A resident of Unit 2 of Building 5 said that in recent years, there have been many problems in the community. Elevators are often like this, and the property has not been repaired.
A woman from Unit 2 of Building 5 said: "Two days ago, I was waiting for the elevator on the first floor, but the elevator stopped on the 8th floor. On the same day, a young man took the elevator and fell directly from the top floor to the 8th floor. Fortunately, the elevator was not falling fast at that time. Since then, I have been afraid as soon as I take the elevator."
When the reporter interviewed, the elevator broke down and the reporter was trapped in the elevator.
Leakage in elevator shaft
On the morning of February 4, the reporter found during an interview at the Century Tang Center that there were three units in Building 5, each with two elevators.
Unit 1 The elevator next to the unit door is in a deactivated state. A warning sign is placed in front of the elevator, which reads: "Stop using during maintenance".
Another elevator in the corridor is still running.
In front of the two elevator doors, reporters can clearly hear the sound of running water in the elevator shaft.
Some residents told reporters that they do not know whether it is the tap water pipeline or the heating pipeline, which has been leaking. At present, there are a series of problems in the elevator, all of which are due to the leakage of the elevator shaft, resulting in problems in the elevator circuit.
"Water leakage can easily lead to rust, short circuit and leakage of electricity in the elevator. The elevator is a metal car. Once an electric shock accident occurs, the consequences will be unimaginable. Look, these buttons are on at the same time." Resident Ms. Ma said.
In response, Longzheng Street staff said: "Water entered the pit at the bottom of the elevator shaft, causing the elevator to malfunction. At present, the property department has found a leak and has arranged staff to pump water."

A glitch in the interview
At about 10:00 on the same day, when the reporter tried to take the elevator of unit 1, the elevator broke down, and the reporter was trapped in the elevator. Although he was not trapped for a long time, the whole process can be described as "fearful". The incident was filmed by the reporter with his mobile phone.
At 10: 4 on the same day, the reporter pressed the button on the second floor. when the elevator reached the second floor, the button went out. then the elevator door made a "click click" sound. after the elevator door slowly opened the gap of 10cm, the elevator door suddenly closed 5 seconds later. the reporter did not press the button, the elevator quickly shook upward.
Thirteen seconds later, the elevator reached the third floor. With a harsh noise, the elevator door opened by itself. At the same time, multiple buttons suddenly flashed and made a harsh noise.
When the reporter was ready to press the alarm button, the elevator went directly to the 9th floor. On the premise that no one pressed the button, from the 9th floor to the 16th floor, there was a stop for a few seconds on each floor.
From the failure of the elevator to the reporter walking out of the elevator, although it only took one minute, the whole process was thrilling.
Residents "six asked" property
Building 5 of Century Tang Dynasty Center has 21 floors and 3 units, each unit has 4 households on each floor, with a total of 252 households. Residents reported that 6 elevators had such failures.
In response to many other problems in the community, residents raised six questions and hoped that the property management service department of the Tang Dynasty Center-Wanlian City Service Century Tang Dynasty Center Project Department would give a reply.
Question: When will the faulty elevator be completely repaired?
Question 2: The frost on the corridor is like an ice cellar. When will it be solved?
Question 3: When will the damaged unit door, distribution box room and corridor slab be replaced and repaired?
Question 4: When will the supporting facilities be completed when some units of fire hydrants are missing hoses and there is no water in the fire hydrants?
Question 5: When will the debris accumulated in the corridor be cleaned up?

In response to the problems raised by the residents, the staff of the Wanlian City Service Century Tang Dynasty Center Project Department said that the above problems reported by the residents do exist, and the property department is solving them one after another. The staff will report these problems to the competent leaders in a timely manner, and strive to cooperate with the relevant departments to solve them in the shortest possible time.
