When law enforcement officers inspected the elevator maintenance of a hotel, they found that there was water in the pit of the two elevators of the hotel, and immediately called the maintenance personnel of the elevator to understand the situation. The faltering words and prevaricated expressions of the maintenance personnel aroused the suspicion of the law enforcement personnel. The "Ladder-to-Household Electronic Maintenance Record" showed that the above two elevators were maintained on January 12 and January 27, and all items were filled with the words "working normally and maintained". The law enforcement personnel also retrieved the surveillance video of January 12 and 27 and found that, on that day, there was no video of the company's maintenance personnel maintaining the elevator. In front of the evidence, the maintenance personnel finally admitted that they had filled in false maintenance records without checking all the items of the elevator, and uploaded photos of other elevators to the "household electronic maintenance system" and filled in the maintenance records of the elevator.
"Elevator safety is very important. Elevator maintenance is not a formality, let alone written on paper." The maintenance company's failure to strictly perform its maintenance obligations is suspected of violating the relevant provisions of Article 45 of the Special equipment Safety Law, and constitutes an illegal act of failing to carry out elevator maintenance in accordance with the provisions of the Special equipment Safety Law and the requirements of safety technical specifications. at present, law enforcement officers have ordered them to rectify immediately and file a case for investigation and handling.
"The maintenance unit must take responsibility for the safety of the elevator, and there must be no false maintenance and failure to maintain in accordance with relevant safety technical specifications." The relevant person in charge of the Korla City Market Supervision Bureau said that with the purpose of people's life safety, we will vigorously rectify the lack of elevator maintenance quality and inadequate use management, reject "elevator panic", and protect the safety of the masses.
