Recently, at a construction site in Botou City, a worker was trapped in an elevator shaft. He was rescued by firefighters at Yuhua West Road Fire Rescue Station in Botou City.

On the same day, firefighters who received the alarm arrived at the scene and saw a man sitting at the bottom of the elevator shaft with a painful expression. Other workers told firefighters that the man was working at the bottom of the elevator shaft when the elevator suddenly dropped. Fortunately, the elevator finally stopped more than one meter away from the bottom of the elevator shaft. Although the man was not life-threatening, his arms and legs were injured and he was unable to move.

Firefighters understand the situation, immediately launched the rescue. They first asked the site manager to raise the elevator to a high position and ensure that it would not plunge again, and then erected the ladder at the bottom of the elevator shaft. A firefighter entered the narrow elevator shaft with a safety rope to check the injuries of the trapped person and found a suspected fracture of his right arm. After the fireman helped him tie the safety rope, he carefully carried him up the ladder behind.

With the help of firefighters, the man slowly climbed out of the elevator shaft and was sent to a 120 ambulance. He is currently receiving medical treatment.
