Tianlun Shengshi District is located on Friendship East Road, Xi'an. The community has been built for more than 10 years, and Ms. Zhang, a resident of Building 1, reported frequent problems with the three elevators in the building. One of the elevators has been out of service for 20 days and has not been repaired. The remaining two elevators are also running with "illness", which has caused great inconvenience to the travel of more than 300 households upstairs.
Ms. Zhang lives in building 1 with 34 floors and 9 households on the first floor. On the morning of September 17, a reporter from China Business Daily came to the scene. One of the three elevators in the building was out of service, and a notice of the property was posted on the elevator door-"the fault will be suspended, and the installation will be resumed as soon as the accessories are delivered". The remaining two were able to get on and off people normally at that time.
"In the past two years, these three elevators have been out of order frequently, either getting stuck on a certain floor or refusing to board five or six people. Last week, Thursday and Friday, both elevators were out of service. The corridor on the first floor was crowded with people waiting to take an elevator, and people living in the upper floors could not walk down the stairs." Ms. Zhang said.
Why does the elevator break down frequently? When can the elevator that broke down for 20 days be repaired? In this regard, the residential property on duty staff said that "the elevator has been in operation for 14 years, and there may be some failures in the main board when it comes to its age, which is the only problem this year."
The property attendant said that the main board of the intermediate shutdown elevator was sent to the manufacturer for repair last week. If the manufacturer detects that it cannot be repaired and can only be replaced, the owner must be asked to approve the overhaul fund.
"Several elevators were examined last year and have not yet expired. The next inspection date is 2024." The staff on duty of the property also said, "Elevator failures have occurred frequently in recent months, and we have also contacted the maintenance department stationed in the residential area to cooperate with maintenance to ensure the operation of the remaining two elevators."
