A few days ago, the reporter came to the door of Unit 1, Building 12, Qingdao Mountain Apartment. He saw that the big pit at the door was surrounded by iron fences. The pit was also exposed with various pipes. The pit was covered with various weeds. In Unit 1 of Building 5, the door was exposed with cut steel bars, there was an obvious trace of fire on the wall, and the door of Unit 3 of Building 12 was also a pile of construction waste. "After the sewage pipe was dug out at the gate of our unit last year, the domestic sewage flowed across. It is just like a cesspit. It is very dangerous for the elderly and children to come in and out." Ms. Shen said that not only their units, but also three units in the community were equipped with elevators, all of which were contracts signed with elevator companies. The other two units were stopped by the owners because of the brutal construction of the construction unit. "The foundation pit at the entrance of Unit 1 of Building 5 has not been dug yet. The construction unit actually caught a fire after demolishing the building at the entrance of the unit. The owners think that the construction unit is barbaric. The owners think that the frequent safety problems indicate that the construction unit is not professional. Continuing the construction will cause great potential safety hazards to the residents on the lower floors, so they no longer agree to continue the construction and report it to the street office, the construction was suspended by the elevator company coordinated by the street office." Ms. Shen said that at this point, the installation of elevators in the three units of the community was "unfinished" as soon as it started, and it has been a whole year now.
"In the case of the community, we have repeatedly interviewed the company that installed the elevator, but because the owner and the elevator company have signed a contract, we do not have the power of law enforcement and supervision, and we can only coordinate in the middle." Yang Guang, deputy director of the Urban Management Office of Yan'an Road Street Office, said that he would continue to interview the company later. In response to the situation reported by the residents, on the morning of September 12, the reporter interviewed Liu Jingli of the company. "We have just finished the consultation meeting with the residents of Building 12 on the property. At present, we have got a preliminary result. The company will first post a notice to simply maintain the pit in front of Unit 1 of Building 12, and finish it in two or three days." Liu Jingli said that after that, the company will work with the street to do the work of the residents on the first floor to solve their demands. "We will start installing elevators immediately after the residents on the first floor agree to the work."
