Since 2023, Huichuan District has adhered to the '1+3' industrial cluster development as the main focus, leading with technological innovation, promoting the transformation and utilization of scientific and technological achievements, continuously enhancing the independent innovation capabilities of enterprises, and creating a new industrialization system with Huichuan characteristics, reflecting Huichuan advantages, and being competitive, leading the high-quality development of the district's economy and society with new industrialization.
Recently, when reporters entered the production workshop of Guizhou Zhonghang Elevator Co., Ltd. (referred to as: Zhonghang Elevator), they saw that on the intelligent production line for door panels, orange robotic arms performed their respective tasks, quickly and efficiently completing the established processes from material handling, punching, bending, to sealing, welding, and cutting, creating a strong sense of technology and an immersive experience of intelligent manufacturing.
The company has introduced 26 advanced intelligent robots, established 14 intelligent production lines, and a 5G industrial internet empowerment service platform, achieving intelligence from the production front end to the market terminal. The competitiveness of its products is increasingly prominent, with orders not only covering the whole country but also successfully exported to the Middle East, Central Asia, and some European countries.
'Since June 2023, we have signed strategic cooperation agreements with builders from countries along the 'Belt and Road' such as Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, and the order volume continues to increase,' said Zhu Jie, the deputy secretary of the company's party committee and general manager.
Zhonghang Elevator is actively applying new generation information technology to transform and upgrade from a traditional 'manufacturing + service' enterprise to a 'smart manufacturing + smart service' 5G smart factory, forming new quality productivity driven by innovation.
'In the past two years, our company has actively integrated into the strategic deployment of promoting high-quality development of new industrialization. In 2024, we will combine the requirements of the provincial party committee's economic work conference on 'strengthening technological leadership' and 'accelerating the cultivation of new quality productivity with a focus on artificial intelligence', and continue to make efforts in 5G + industrial intelligent manufacturing, continuously improving product quality to make elevators smarter, safer, and more comfortable,' Zhu Jie stated.
