As a state-owned enterprise, Guizhou AVIC Elevator Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "AVIC Elevator") has been actively responding to the national call to carry out in-depth poverty alleviation and assistance work. On January 14, 2021, the AVIC Elevator Poverty Alleviation Assistance Team, with the deep concern of the company's leaders and all employees, went to the company's designated poverty-stricken village-Dawo Village, Tuanxi Town, Bozhou District, to offer condolences to the local elderly.
After arriving in Dawo Village, the support group had in-depth exchanges with the village committee on poverty alleviation and the development of the village's collective industry. Later, under the leadership of Yi Liguo, the former resident cadre of AVIC Elevator, the help group visited the lonely elderly in Dawo Village and sent them rice, cooking oil and New Year's greetings. The old people who received the condolences all showed happy smiles and lamented that AVIC Elevator is a good enterprise of Zunyi people. They have been thinking about Dawo villagers for many years. The good life of Dawo villagers now cannot be separated from the great help of AVIC Elevator!
Since pairing to help Dawo Village in 2015, AVIC Elevator has always attached great importance to the poverty alleviation work of Dawo Village. In order to do this work better, the company specially selected outstanding party member Yi Liguo to help the poor in the village. Up to now, a total of more than 200,000 yuan has been invested in the poverty alleviation work here. Although Dawo Village was successfully lifted out of poverty as early as 2017, AVIC Elevator has never stopped the pace of assistance, but has continued to carry out the assistance work to the end as always. In the future, AVIC Elevator will continue to devote itself to the help work, work hand in hand with Dawo Village, and contribute its own strength for the villagers of Dawo Village to move towards a well-off society as soon as possible!
