Gongqing Avenue pedestrian bridge elevator construction in progress

Zunyi Yinhe Road-Gongqing Avenue Widening and Reconstruction Project is a municipal key project in 2018. It is located at Yinhe Road and Gongqing Avenue in Honghuagang District, starting from Guanjing North Tunnel and ending at Tianchi Avenue, with a total length of 13.22 kilometers. The upgraded road grade is a traffic-type trunk road, with two-way eight-lane or ten-lane, and some six-lane roads. Seven pedestrian bridges and an underground pedestrian passage have been newly built or rebuilt along the line. At present, AVIC Elevator is installing six barrier-free elevators (sightseeing elevators) for the three newly-built pedestrian bridges to provide convenience and safety for pedestrians crossing the street.
In modern urban life, pedestrian bridge is not only an important extension of urban walking space, but also a beautiful scenery line on urban roads. The three flyovers of AVIC Elevator equipped with barrier-free elevators stand on the main traffic roads of Gongqing Avenue, which is an important transportation hub in the area. Prior to this, AVIC Elevator had installed a total of 27 elevators for pedestrian bridge elevators such as Ningbo Road, Dalian Road, Renmin Road and Donglian Line in Zunyi City.
The reason why Zunyi municipal government chose to install sightseeing elevators on the pedestrian overpasses of major trunk lines originated from two passenger elevators worth about 1 million million donated by AVIC elevator to Zunyi municipal government in 2016, which were installed at the Xinhua Road overpass in the city center. Xinhua Road is located in Honghuagang District. It is an important hub linking the two prosperous areas of the urban area-T-shaped mouth and the old city. On both sides of the road are leisure activities places where the elderly often gather and business centers such as Chongbai Shopping Mall. Large flow and many elderly people. Since its use, Xinhua Road Flyover Elevator has not had any failures. After seeing the manufacturing level and installation and maintenance strength of AVIC Elevator, Zunyi Municipal Government has vigorously promoted the important livelihood project of installing elevators on flyovers throughout the city. As a result, AVIC Elevator has become the only designated brand for installing elevators on flyovers in Zunyi City.
Overpass elevators are divided into escalators and elevators. The reason why AVIC Elevator chose the installation scheme of elevators is that elevators have more advantages in the installation of overpass elevators, save more building space, and the use environment of elevators is not affected by the weather. The most important point is to facilitate the passage of the elderly and the disabled.
