Li Daobo is a college student majoring in mechanical design and manufacturing. He graduated from Guizhou University in 2006 and joined Guizhou Zhonghang Elevator Co., Ltd. in 2010. He has worked in the company for elevator maintenance, debugging, and technical support. I am currently engaged in elevator debugging and inspection work, as well as undertaking technical support for external elevator maintenance and upkeep.
In August 2020, Li Daobo, as the representative of the company, went to participate in the "International Competition on Elevator Engineering Technology of the 2020 the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition" held in Shanghai. After three days of fierce competition, Li Daobo successfully won the first place in this competition with the first total score, adding glory to AVIC Elevator again. Li Daobo, who achieved good results, did not immerse himself in it. Instead, he reviewed the competition, identified his shortcomings, and systematically supplemented his theoretical knowledge. It is precisely this reflective and summarizing character that has led Li Daobo's growth along the way.
He said: This honor is a recognition of his work ability and also proves that his previous research direction was correct. In the future, I will focus more on my work, continuously improve myself, and strive to make more contributions to the development of the company.
In 2010, Li Daobo, who had just arrived at the company, was just a beginner with little understanding of elevator installation and maintenance. In his eyes, elevators were a dangerous, complex, highly challenging, and mysterious thing. He was both afraid and longing for them. But as work time accumulated and he became more familiar with elevators, he also became more aware of the important role of elevator installation and maintenance in social development. His inner fear gradually disappeared, while the complex craftsmanship of elevators made him increasingly obsessed, often spending a day in elevator shafts.
The quality of an elevator is related to the safety of thousands of people, so Li Daobo dare not take any aspect of his work lightly. Every time he completes a process, he repeatedly inspects and inspects it. He said, "The installation, maintenance, debugging, and inspection of elevators should not only pursue qualification, but also the ultimate goal. Enabling everyone to use a safe and comfortable elevator is the meaning of my work.".
The pursuit of perfection is Li Daobo's work guide, and it is also the secret of his enthusiasm for elevator technology work for ten years. The ultimate goal of "pursuing the ultimate" is to "serve the user well", so Li Daobo insists on studying the technology at the same time, but also actively learn the relevant laws and regulations and standards of the elevator, he is responsible for each elevator has "high standards and strict requirements", he believes that the elevator data in line with the relevant national standards is our bottom line. And let the majority of users have a safe and comfortable ride feeling is another standard to test our technology.
Today, Li Daobo has grown from an ordinary worker to an excellent knowledge-based elevator skill talent, and his pursuit of "extreme" is always the same. On the one hand, he is no longer satisfied with knowing the elevator structure, and has begun to devote himself to minor changes in elevator technology to improve the comprehensive performance of elevators. On the other hand, he began to summarize his work experience and spread his work results and ideas to the new employees of the company, hoping to continue to pass on the "extreme" spirit.
The beginning of everything is difficult, as long as you are willing to climb. Li Daobo, with his outstanding spirit of hard work and research, grew from an elevator beginner to an elevator craftsman. Whether it was practical skills or theoretical knowledge, they became unattainable to others, and these were the labor achievements accumulated by him in his daily work. It has been proven that attitude determines success or failure. If you approach work with a serious attitude, life will reward you with equally generous results.
