An elevator in Yiwu suddenly fell and 17 people were trapped.
At about 14:20 on October 7, the 119 command center of Yiwu fire rescue detachment received an alarm saying that the elevator of an office building on Jiangbin West Road suddenly fell down during operation, resulting in more than 10 people trapped and in urgent need of rescue. After receiving the police, the command center immediately dispatched choujiang full-time firefighters to dispose of them.
At 14:28, fire rescue personnel arrived. According to feedback from people familiar with the scene, the elevator is currently parked on the first floor and maintenance personnel are on their way.
"Are the people inside okay? We'll get you out right away."
"Please hurry up, someone inside is a little collapsed." The fire rescue personnel used the elevator special triangle key and crowbar to quickly launch the rescue, and opened the elevator door in only 4 minutes.
"One, two, three, four... 17!" The elevator was full of 17 people. All of them were sweating profusely. Some were full of joy for the rest of their lives, some were still frightened, and some were pale because of collapse. Fortunately, it was all right.
"We are from a company. Everyone got stuck at work in the afternoon and squeezed into the elevator. It may be because it was overloaded. The elevator suddenly fell during the operation, which scared everyone. Thanks to the firefighters who arrived in time." Trapped personnel, Mr. Liu said.
The fire department warned,The overload of the elevator is likely to cause the elevator to fall.For the safety of yourself and others, please take the elevator in a standardized way and remember not to overload. If passengers find that the elevator falls down, please keep calm, do not panic, stick the whole back and head close to the inner wall of the elevator box, use the box wall to protect the spine, at the same time make the lower limbs curved, fix the neck by hand to reduce cervical spine fracture, and wait for the elevator to stop running. After the elevator stops, quickly press the alarm button or call the alarm phone, and wait patiently for rescue.
